유아용 몬테소리 프로그램 평가도구 개발 ­59～93개월 유아를 중심으로 = A Study on the Injury Prevention Program Model of Safety Competence of Young Children.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Early Childhood Montessori Performance Assessment Scale(MPAS), a scale for assessing the performance of 59-93 month old children in Montessori programs. Subjects of the study consisted of 46 59-93 month old children in Seoul and 133 teachers in Seoul. Statistical methods employed were frequency, Cronbach’s Alpha, test/re-test reliability, internal consistency among rater, construct validity and concurrent validity. The results of this study were as follows：1) There were few scales to assess the performance of educational objectives of Montessori programs and 2) The Cronbach’s a of the MPAS’s 3 areas-sense, mathematics, and culture education-were ranged from .83 to .90. The correlation of the test/re-test was .88. The correlation among the MPAS’s 3 areas and between the 3 areas and the total scores of the areas were ranged from .77 to .87. It was also revealed that MPAS were correlated with the Korean Child Social Maturity Scales(r＝.37) and the KIRBS Intelligence Scale for Children(KISC)(r＝.48).

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아용 몬테소리 프로그램의 감각, 수학, 문화교육의 3개 영역에 대한 유아의 수행능력을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 도구를 개발하고자 하는 목적으로 이루어졌다. 교사 133명의 인식과 요구 조사를 함으로써 평가 방법에 대한 현황을 파악하고 3차례에 걸쳐 만 59～93개월 남녀 유아에게 검사를 실시한 후 전문가 협의를 거쳐 몬테소리 수행평가 도구의 항목과 점수체계를 구성하였다. 몬테소리 수행평가 도구 개발 과정에서 서울 지역 유아 46명을 대상으로 적용하여 가능성을 검증하였다. 본 연구자들이 개발한 몬테소리 수행평가 도구의 문항내적 일치도는 Cronbach’s α값이 .83에서 .90으로 나타났고 검사/재검사 계수는 .88이었으며 평정자간 일치도도 .95로 높은 신뢰도를 보였다. 몬테소리 수행평가 도구의 3개 구인과 총점간 상관계수는 .77에서 .87로 나타났다. 몬테소리 수행평가 도구는 사회성숙도 검사(r＝.37)와 유아지능검사(r＝.48)와 수렴적 타당도 및 확산적 타당도가 검증되어 동질 및 이질적인 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
