심리평가를 활용한 심리치료 개입의 종단적 단일 사례 연구: 로르샤하 검사를 이용한 미술작품과 치료적 평가 = A Longitudinal Single Case Study of Therapeutic Intervention Using a Psychological Test: Works of Art and Therapeutic Assesment Using the Rorschach Test

The purpose of this study was to find symbolic meaning in a client art work using Rorschach test, to integrate the meaning with Rorschach test results, and finally to explore the client's desires and inner conflicts. This study revealed how the intrapsychic desires and conflicts of a client were expressed in art work and how the client during psychotherapy. The analysis of the art work focused on its color, form, composition, painting method, symbolism, and story. Also, the Rorschach test was administered before and after the completion of work in order to make an objective assessment of client’s traits that change during psychotherapy process. The results showed that the client perceived the external environment in an ordinary way, and the inaccuracy of that perception increased when the client's emotions were aroused. Moreover, the client became aware of self-related symbols through the feedback and interpretations of Rorschach cards in therapeutic process. The client realized that one of the causes of her problems was the negative representation of her parents. A series of work production, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis made it possible to divide undifferentiated self into differentiated self in a healthy way. Finally, limitation and future studies were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 로르샤하 검사를 이용한 미술 작품 속 상징의 의미를 발견하고, 이를 로르샤하 검사 결과와 통합하는 치료적 평가 기법을 적용하여 내담자 내면에 숨겨진 욕구와 갈등을 탐색했다. 그리고 심리치료 과정을 통해 내적 욕구와 갈등이 작품에 어떻게 형상화되고, 내담자가 이를 어떻게 통찰하고 훈습했는지를 살펴보았다. 작품분석은 색채, 형상, 구도, 로르샤하 카드의 상징과 내담자가 연상한 이야기를 중심으로 이루어졌다. 또한 심리치료 과정 중 변화하는 내담자의 심리 특성에 대한 객관적 평가를 위해 작품을 만들기 전과 후로 나누어 로르샤하 검사를 실시했다. 그 결과 내담자는 외부환경을 평범하게 지각하는 면이 증가했고, 감정이 유발되는 상황에서 지각적 부정확성이 상승되었다. 또한, 로르샤하 카드의 피드백과 해석을 통해 자신과 관련된 여러 상징을 자각하게 되었다. 아울러 의식하지 못했던 부정적 부모에 대한 표상이 현재 자신의 문제 원인 중 하나임을 인식할 수 있었다. 작품 제작과 심리치료 과정 및 심리분석은 내담자가 미분화된 자아를 건강하게 분화할 수 있는 계기가 되었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 임상적 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.
