학교폭력에 관한 담론 분석 -신문 매체를 중심으로- = Discourse analysis on school violence -focused on newspaper articles-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Pupose: This research conducted newspaper``s discourse analysis in order to understand how the discourse on school violence which is one of the most serious social problem is composed and distributed. Methods: To develop our research into detailed phase, we selected total 856 school violence related articles from January 1st 2011 to December 31st 2012 featured on Korea``s 5 major newspaper publishing companies. We could categorize articles as - Accidents ·Incidents(including related investigation), Violence preventing promotion(including debates, countermeasures and education), Policy·Planning(including improvement measures), Incident related articles, Others(video clip or books on school violence), Excluded(deleted unrelated articles) - by perspective based classification and Incident·Accident type composed the largest portion in the classification by type. Conclusion: the articles reported incident·accident were 292 and composed of 34.11% in the total school violence discourse analysis of newspaper by perspective and 31.07% for 266 articles on prevention·promotion and this shows that prevention, promotion and education occupy large part in school violence other than incident·accident matters.
