문화간 커뮤니케이션의 관점에서 본 중국어 어휘의 정반대립구조 = Binary Opposition in Chinese Language: An Intercultural Communicative Perspective

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Chinese people have developed Yin-Yang dualism in their world view since antiquity. This world view is also reflected in their language practices. Following this lead, the current paper examined binary oppositions prevalent in the Chinese language and discussed some implications from intercultural communicative standpoint. In fact, binary opposition was found to be a great characteristic of the Chinese language structure, affecting the Chinese popular culture in general including advertising and popular songs.
