소시오드라마 프로그램이 지역아동센터 아동의 공감능력, 자기조절력, 자기표현력에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Sociodrama Program on Empathy, Self-Regulation, and Self-Expression of Children in Local Children's Centers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 소시오드라마 프로그램 참여가 지역아동센터 아동의 공감능력, 자기조절력, 자기표현력에 미치는 영향을 확인하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 D시의 지역아동센터 아동 20명을 실험과 통제집단으로 각각 10명씩 배치하고 실험집단은 2021년 5월부터 7월까지 두 달간 주 1회 2시간씩 총 5회기 10시간에 걸쳐 프로그램에 참여하였다. 연구 분석은 SPSS 25를 활용하였으며 먼저 집단 간 동질성검증을 실시하고 프로그램 효과성 검증을 위해 아동의 공감능력, 자기조절력, 자기표현력의 사전·사후 점수 비교 및 시점과 집단의 상호작용 효과도 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 모든 변인에서 실험집단이 유의미한 향상을 보였고 특히 공감능력에서 큰 차이를 보였다. 시점과 상호작용에서도 모두 유의미한 변화를 보이며 특히 자기표현력의 증진에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 소시오드라마 프로그램이 부정적 정서인식 및 발달이 우려되는 지역아동센터 아동의 자기정서 인식과 표현의 기회를 제공하고 타인에 대한 인지·정서적 공감능력을 향상하도록 도우며 상황에 따라 적절한 행동 및 정서표현을 하도록 도와 또래관계 및 사회성 향상에 기여할 수 있음을 확인한 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of sociodrama program on empathy, self-regulation, and self-expression of children at a local children's center. To verify the effectiveness of the program, 20 children from the local children's center in D city were assigned to an experimental group and a control group, for 10 each. The 2 hour program has been performed at every week from May to July of 2021. For the analysis of the study, SPSS 25 was used, and first, homogeneity between experimental and control groups was checked, and pre- and post-comparisons of children's empathy, self-regulation, and self-expression were compared to verify the effects of the program. Finally, a series of the interaction effect analyses between time and group was performed. As a result of the study, the experimental group showed significant improvement in all variables, and in particular, there was a big difference in empathy ability. Both the viewpoint and interaction showed significant changes, and it was found to be particularly effective in enhancing self-expression. This study is meaningful in confirming that sociodrama programs can provide opportunities for children at local children's centers to recognize and express their emotions, improve cognitive and emotional empathy for others, and improve peer relationships and sociability.
