Asphalt pavement has been failed mainly due to rutting in Korea. Therefore, laboratory tests were performed for several modifiers to increase the pavement life by improving the properties of asphalt mixtures. Laboratory test results showed all modifier improved the mechanical properties of asphalt mixtures. Since laboratory test showed modifier "C" was superior for improving the dynamic stability of asphalt mixtures, field test sections using modifier "C" were constructed. And resilient modulus of conventional mixtures and modified mixtures by modifier "C" was measured using repetitional indirect tensile testing machine. The results of laboratory test and site construction said modified asphalt mixtures by modifier "C" is good for improving the dynamic stability of mixture and workability. Up to now there is no evidence improving effect of modifier "C" at low temperature. Futher field investigation and additional laboratory test will be performed to determine the feasibility of modified mixtures.
