한국 아동청소년 문학에서 다문화의 수용 : 내부자의 타자 수용 방식을 중심으로 = A Study on Accepting Multiculturalism in Korean Adolescent Literature

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Recently, there are lots of lively discussions about multiculturalism in Korea. The reasons are listed below. (1) In the age of globalization, many different cultures from around the world live together in Korea society. (2) The number of foreign students, laborers and women who immigrate to Korea. These social trends are identified through adolescent novels.
The adolescent novels are adolescent-oriented literary works. Because of this, multiculturalism in adolescent novels is the basis for accept various components of life and adapt to diversity cultures.
This study analyzed aspects of accepting multiculturalism in Korea adolescent literatures and paid attention to recently-issued adolescent novels, and then raised several points and suggests about multicultural consciousness that we aim for diversity of cultures. Through these kinds of works, this study reveals the importance of open-mind on others and the culture of one’s own country is just one of the various cultures.
