Objective: Investigate the effects of treadmill training with visual feedback on the gait in hemiplegia after stroke.
Method: Two Patients who had hemiplegia after stroke performed treadmill training with visual feedback. We tested treadmill training program on subject 30 min per course, 5 days a week for 4 weeks. Before and after the experiments, we measured balance and gait ability and got the result of this following.
Results: The results of this study showed that treadmill training with visual feedback, after training, had meaningful difference of gait velocity(43.7 ㎝/sec to 49.1 ㎝/sec, 38.6 ㎝/sec to 42.8 ㎝/sec), and Timed up & go test(TUG)(31 sec to 23 sec, 33 sec to 27 sec).
Conclusion: The result supported the effect of treadmill training with visual feedback on the improvement of the balance and functional walking ability with stroke patient.
