We could obtain the sophisticated gas behavior such as surface adsorption and penetration into LB film at the interface. Also, the oscillating properties of quartz crystal coated with fatty acid LB films was analyzed for the evaluation of LB deposition status. The impedance |Z| and phase angle θ including various electrical parameters was measured in the state of vibrational mode quartz crystal. The analysis of thin film properties was attempted using resonant frequency, resistance, and B-G diagram. The resonant frequency was linearly decreased as to the deposition of LB films, which mean the mass loading onto the quartz crystal. The resistance of quartz crystal was increased as to the deposition of LB film but the linear relationship with the number of LB film couldn't be obtained. The diameter of B-G curve has been decreased as to deposition of LB film, Which mean that there is possibility to apply to the some area connected with quartz crystal such as a gas sensor using the quartz crystal coated with LB film or polymer and the analysis of thin film properties.
