문법 분석을 통해 본 『농암진적』의 표현 효과 = A Study on the Expressive Effect on Nongamjinjeok through an Analysis of Grammar

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한문학계에서 간찰은 다소 생소한 연구 영역이다. 문집에 수록된 書簡文에서 관련 자료를 추출하여 연구한 성과는 많았지만, 고문서 형태의 간찰 연구는 활성화되지 않았다. 고문서 간찰은 간찰의 형식과 투식어 이해, 저자의 가공되지 않은 순수한 의도와 실제적 인간상 파악에 중요한 자료이다. 동시에 사회사, 문화사, 인물 교류 등 다양한 정보를 담고 있어서 한문학계의 무궁한 연구 영역 가운데 하나이다. 난해한 초서로 작성되고, 자료가 곳곳에 산재한 탓에 연구의 어려움이 있지만 결코 외면할 수 없는 연구 대상이다.
『농암진적』은 김창협이 주로 김시좌에게 보냈던 간찰을 김시좌의 高孫김성근이 粧帖한 자료이다. 본고는 『농암진적』에 수록된 간찰의 문법 분석을 통해 각 문법 요소들의 작용으로 나타나는 표현의 효과를 고찰하고자 하였다.
한문 문법은 한문학 연구의 중요한 한 영역임에도 불구하고 학계의 무관심 속에 침체되었다. 한편으로는 그동안의 연구를 통해 충분한 성과를 축적하였으므로 더 이상 새로운 이론을 제출하기 어렵다는 한계도 존재한다. 다시 말해 用例종합을 통한 허사의 기능이나 句法등의 연구는 기존 연구의 성과를 넘어서기 어려운 상황이다. 이제는 그동안의 성과를 바탕으로, 각종 문법 규칙들이 한 문장 안에서, 나아가 한 편의 글 안에서 어떻게 활용되어 수사에 기여하는지에 관심을 기울일 때이다. 그동안의 문법 연구가 분석을 통한 이론화에 초점을 두었다면 이제는 정립된 이론의 적용을 통해 작품의 문학성을 분석하는 데 기여할 때이며, 본고 역시 그러한 작업의 시도이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Ganchal is a somewhat unfamiliar research area in classical Chinese. There has been a wide range of researches on letter writings from literary collections but studies on Ganchal has not developed fully in historical manuscripts. Ganchanl in historical manuscripts are significant resources to gain a better understanding of an actual human character, a pure intention of writers, terms of style and forms. It also contains diverse information on social and literature perspective along with interchanges of characters at the same time. Therefore it makes one of infinite research fields in classical Chinese. It is written in enigmatic cursive scripts and its resources are everywhere. It is pretty challenging to study this field but is has undeniable worth.
Nongamjinjeok is an album of letters which Kim Chang- Hyeop sent to Kim Si-Jwa and was kept by Kim Sung-Keun who was a great great-grand child of Kim Si-Jwa. This paper takes an in-depth study on analysis of grammar in Ganchal included in Nongamjinjeok and on consideration in expressive effects of each grammatical element.
Although Chinese grammar is an important area in classical Chinese, it has been in depression from indifference of academic society. At the same time, there have been enough research results so it is hard to come up with a new theory.
In other words, it is hard to go beyond conventional research especially in functions and styles of the expletives through comprehensive examples. It is time to pay a careful attention to grammatical rules and their application not only in one sentence but also in a whole writing. The conventional grammatical research had focused on the theorization from analysis. However it is time to apply those theories to analyze the nature of the literature in writings. This paper suggests a new academic approach for this.
