Tetralogy of Fallot is a congenital heart disease with the following four features: ventricular septal defect, overriding aorta, pulmonary stenosis, and right ventricular hypertrophy. Cardiac catheterization is performed to identify cardiac defects and hemodynamic function of tetralogy of Fallot. This study aimed to develop a nursing simulation scenario for post-cardiac catheterization in infants with tetralogy of Fallot. It was developed with the learning goals of post-cardiac catheterization nursing, assessing circulatory function in infants with tetralogy of Fallot, and improving communication skills with both medical professionals and the infant’s parents. The scenario developed through the results of this study is meaningful as it contributes to improving nursing students' competency regarding infants with tetralogy of Fallot.
