아동 성 학대에 대한 목회상담학적 개입

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인간은 모두가 각각 다른 특성을 내재한 독특한 존재이다. 그러므로 인간 자신이 인간을 서로가 평가할 자격도 없으며 누구에게도 평가를 받아서도 않된다. 인간의 고 유성과 독특성은 태어나면서 부여받은 것이지 교육과 훈련에 의한 것은 아니다. 그렇 다면 오늘 사회와 교회 공동체에서 발생하는 수치스러운 일들, 즉 아동 성 학대는 기 본에서 벗어난 부끄러운 일이다. 특히 인간의 고유성인 성에 대하여 우열을 논하거나 성을 자신의 이용물로 삼는 사고는 인간에 대한 반항이요 죄를 범하는 것이다. 왜 이 런 일이 발생하는가? 인간에 대한 존엄성과 소중함을 망각하는 폭력이라고 할 수 있 다. 하나님은 세상의 모든 것을 자신의 깊은 애정과 뜻을 담아 창조하셨다. 그런데 그 창조된 대상들이 아래 위를 구분하여 차별하고 억압해서 그 행위들과 사고들을 합리 화하여 차별과 억압의 당위성을 주장하여 왜곡된 실체들이 삶의 현장에서 나타난다. 성에 대한 거룩함과 경외함을 인간들의 희열과 만족만을 추구하는 슬픈 사회가 되어 가고 있다. 특히 세상에서 가장 순수하고 깨끗한 아동에 대한 탐욕이 악의 열매로 맺 고 있다. 한 아동 성 학대가 사람들을 분노와 격앙된 감정을 우리는 어떻게 이해하고 받아 들여야 하는가? 더욱 더 하나님께서 이 세상을 너무 사랑하셔서 하나 밖에 없는 아들 예수님을 주시기까지 하셨다. 세상의 모두를 위하여 예수님이 오셨고 승천 하신 후 예수님의 뜻을 따르기로 결단한 교회 공동체가 과연 하나님이 세상을 사랑하신 그 위대한 뜻과 책임을 감당하고 있는가?2) 질문해야한다. 교회가 하나님의 거룩한 뜻을 실천하는 상징이 되었지만 거룩함의 모습과 성스러운 행위보다 오히려 실망과 상심의 아픔을 만들어가는 공동체가 되었다. 그래서 교회 공동체는 치유를 하는 것이 본래의 기능이지만 다른 한편으로는 상처를 입히는 일도 일어나고 있다는 모순된 모습을 경 험한다. 본 소고는 저자의 경험과 습득한 지식으로 아동 성 학대를 통합적인 관점에 서 실마리를 찾으려고 한다. 사례를 관찰하고 아동 성 학대에 대한 사회학적인 정의 와 심리적 증상, 그리고 새로운 관점에서 본 신학적인 제언들과 목회상담의 구체적인 개입으로 소고를 마무리하려고 한다. 이 소고가 성 학대로 어려움으로 힘들어하는 피 해자들에게 작은 위로와 힘이 되었으면 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The prevalence of childhood sexual abuse in our society is quite high. We can meet sexual abuse events very easily from mass media. Sexual abuse happens all of the areas that are elementary school, college campus, National Assembly, and even military camp. Several years ago, pastor who worked at mega-church had sexual abuse in his office room. Most pastors serve parishioners at church who know too well the consequences of incest or sexual abuse. Many survivors from sexual abuse would say, "I have my life and my body." These confessions for their sexual abuse include their angers as well as their fears. It is difficult time for them to live with people who are family, relative, and friends. One victim of sexual abuse told me, “where is my God? I prayed many times and devoted church financially. I should give up my God who could not help me out from dark and painful event happening sexual abuse from church member”. Sexual abuse of child is not about sex or love. It is about the abuse of power, control, and authority. Sexual abuse untreated is likely to cross generations with destructive consequences. Especially, sexual abuse of child is most terrible trauma. This continues to hurt and destruct he/r life all the time. Those who are abused by perpetrators could not live their lives with hope and vision. They would be isolated and depressed. Church members would like to be with person who have power to control and manipulate. They should acknowledge what wrong is and what right is. According to reality of sexual abuse in childhood, first of all sufferers should be safe from the incident and then call police department to inform what is going on. Pastoral counselor should sooth sufferer and listen he/r emotion and let he/r calm down. In terms of church’s situation, pastor often should preach about what sexual abuse is and how person inform to police department. Sexual abuse is not about sexual problem but about violence.
