This study aims to analyze the relationship between the satisfaction of general high school students with career-linked invention education experiences and their attitudes toward career management (career awareness, career exploration, career design) and learning management (learning planning, learning attitude). To this end, a survey was conducted with 219 second-year students at High School A in Gyeongsangnam-do, and interviews were carried out with some of the students. The measurement tool was the Career Development Competency Index Questionnaire for General High School Students developed by the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (2017), which was revised and supplemented through review by two professors in education and two doctoral candidates. Using SPSS 26.0, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-tests, correlation analysis, and simple regression analysis were performed. The analysis results showed that the group with higher satisfaction in career-linked invention education experiences scored significantly higher on all subdomains (p<.001), with satisfaction showing particularly strong influence on learning attitudes and career planning. Qualitative analysis also confirmed that invention education contributed to enhancing creative thinking skills and strengthening career development competencies. These findings suggest that career-linked invention education can serve as an effective educational strategy that positively influences students’ career and learning management attitudes.
