입원환자의 가족이 받는 스트레스에 대한 국내 연구동향 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 입원환자 가족이 받는 스트레스와 관련된 국내의 연구동향을 파악하기 위해서 1980년대부터 2014년 12월까지 102편의 논문을 연구시기, 연구유형 및 설계, 연구대상자, 주요개념, 분석방법, 측정도구, 연구주제 등에 따라 분석하였다. 전체 논문 102편 중 학위논문은 70편, 비학위논문은 32편으로 2010년 이전까지는 급격한 증가를 보이다가 2010년 이후부터 다소 감소하고 있으며, 연구설계는 양적연구 97편, 질적연구 5편으로 양적연구가 압도적으로 많았다. 연구 대상자는 영아/아동 입원환자의 가족이 가장 많았으며 노인환자, 중환자와 같이 환자 상태가 위중한 환자 및 장기투병환자 가족을 대상으로 한 연구들이 대부분이었다. 양적연구에서는 서술적 연구가 가장 많았으며, 주요 개념은 스트레스, 부담감, 불안/불확실성 등이었고, 상관성 연구의 주요 개념 역시 스트레스, 부담감 등으로 연구결과 스트레스는 대처, 부담감, 불안과는 순상관 관계가, 사회적 지지, 대처와는 부적인 상관관계가 나타나, 대처의 경우 상반된 결과를 보여 추후 연구가 필요하다. 스트레스 관련 개념을 측정하기 위해 국내에서 개발된 다양한 도구들이 활용되었으나 입원환자 가족의 스트레스를 측정하기에 적합한 도구인지에 대해서는 연구자간 공통된 함의가 필요할 것으로 사료된다. 정보제공 및 교육 위주의 실험연구와 극소수 진행된 질적연구 및 기타 연구의 부재는 입원환자 가족의 스트레스 관련 연구들이 양적으로는 많으나 질적인 측면 및 다양성은 매우 부족함을 나타내고 있다. 향후 입원환자 가족이 경험하는 고유한 스트레스를 규명하기 위한 다양한 질적연구 및 기타 연구 증가를 통해 질적 다양성을 추구해야 할 것이며, 이에 따른 다양한 중재방법을 개발하여 활용할 수 있는 실험연구가 보다 활발히 진행되어질 필요가 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends about stress of hospitalized patient’s family in Korea and suggest the direction of future studies. 102 researches from 1980 to 2014 were analyzed with regard to the years, subjects, main concepts and designs et al. Among the 102 studies, 70 were for thesis studies for a degree, 32 for academic journal. There were 97 quantitative studies, 5 qualitative studies. The most frequently used study design was a descriptive research. The majority of study participants were infant/child inpatients’ family, elder or ICU patients’ family. In correlation studies, stress had positive correlation with coping, burden, anxiety and had negative correlation with social support, coping. Various study tools were used to measure the stress of hospitalized patients’ family. In experimental study, main independent variables were nursing information and education. A few qualitative studies were done, and were used phenomenology, grounded theory. Few studies have been conducted by other research methods. Future studies will be pursued qualitative diversity, through more qualitative researches or other research methods to identify the unique stresses experience of inpatients’ family, and develop a various interventions.
