픽션의 작업 = The work of fiction : Ranciere’s politics of art

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자크 랑시에르는 예술가의 의도를 강조하는 정치적 예술의 한계를 지적한다. 예술의 정치에서 예술이 담당해야 할 불화와 갈등을 수행하기보다 합의와 일치의 기능을 수행하려는 행동주의 예술 역시 비판의 대상이다. 랑시에르는 미학의 정치, 픽션의 작업, 메타 정치의 논리 라는 세 가지 이질성의 교착을 예술의 정치로 규정하고 ‘만들다’라는 ‘픽션’의 어원을 강조하며 픽션과 현실 효과의 생산을 분리한다. 아리스토텔레스적 픽션 모델의 지배는 민주주의와 문학 혁명의 시기 이후 붕괴되며 불일치를 가져오는 픽션 모델이 고전주의적 시학과 각축을 벌인다. 불일치를 드러내는 제작방식, 제작방식의 가시성, 사유가능성이 텍스트(특히 영화 텍스트)에 모순과 타율성을 기입한다. 불일치의 작업은 미학의 정치인 정치적 주체화와 연결된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Jacques Rancière criticizes the limits of the political art that focuses on the intention of artists. The activist art is also subject to criticism because it practises the consensus in art instead of dissensus and conflict. According to him, the politics of art is composed of the connection of three heterogeneities among the politics of aesthetics, the operation of fiction and the meta politics. Underlining the etymological roots of the word ‘fiction’, ‘make’, Rancière separates the concept of fiction from the reality effect. With the advent of democracy and the revolution of literature, Aristoteles’s fiction model no longer dominates. The way of production of dissensus through fiction, its visibility and its thinkability inscribe the alterity and the contradiction in the texts, especially of films which enable it to link to the politic subjectification, politics of aesthetics.
