유아의 그리기표상능력과 주의력결핍 및 다중지능 간의 관계 분석 = A study of the relationships among children`s drawing representational ability, attention-deficit and Multiple-intelligence

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the relationships among children`s drawing representational ability, attention-deficit and multiple intelligence. Subjects are 213, four and five year-old children in seven preschools and kindergartens. Instruments used in collecting data were ‘The Drawing Representation Inventory’, a ‘Korean version of ADHD Rating Scales (K-ARS)’ and the ‘Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scale (MIDAS) for Young Korean Children’ and Pearson`s correlation and Stepwise Multi-Regression Analysis were used to analyze the data. The results of this study are as follows: First, there were negative correlations between children`s drawing representational ability and their attention-deficit problem and impulsivity. Second, there were positive correlations between children`s drawing representational ability and linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, bodily kinesthetic intelligence and spatial intelligence. Third, spatial intelligence and impulsivity were found to be the predictable variables affecting the children`s drawing representation ability.
