의상디자인 관련 교과 웹기반 교육시스템 개발

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기 지식기반사회에서 다양한 정보통신 매체를 활용한 교육방법은 새로운 교육 패러다임으로 자리를 찾아가고 있다. 의상디자인 교육은 전문화, 다양화, 국제화 및 기술의 고도화에 즉각 대처할 수 있도록 세분화되고 있으며 학문의 특성상 산업과의 협력이 매우 중요하며 체계적인 교과과정을 통한 이론과 실기를 겸비한 우수한 전문인을 양성하는데 그 목적이 있다. 컴퓨터 및 정보통신 기술의 발달은 의류산업 현장시스템에도 많은 변화를 가져왔으며 교육현장에서도 그러한 변화들이 반영된 교과과정이 개편되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 이러한 의상디자인 교육의 특수성 및 시대성을 고려하여 산업현장의 요구를 반영한 의상디자인 관련 웹기반 교육시스템 개발을 제안하고자 하였다. 이러한 시스템을 개발함으로써 강의실 중심의 전통적 환경과는 다른 정보통신기술을 활용한 웹기반교육을 통하여 다양한 교육 서비스에 접근할 수 있는 학습환경의 개선과 보다 많은 학습자들이 자신이 필요로 하는 다양한 교육과정에 접근할 기회를 가질 수 도록 하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 의상디자인 관련 교과의 현황을 파악하고 각 교과별 특성을 분석하였으며 이를 토대로 각 교과목의 특색에 맞는 웹기반 교육시스템을 개발하고자 하였다. 또한 본 연구의 진행과정 중 정보통신교육을 활용한 교육의 일환으로 스마트 폰을 활용한 패션이미지 사진 검색 앱( APP )을 개발하였다. 새롭게 대두되는 다양한 정보 통신 기기를 활용한 적절한 교육방법을 모색하고자 하였으며 시간과 장소에 구애받지않고 편리하게 자신이 원하는 정보를 스스로 찾아가는 능동적인 자기주도적 학습방법을 구현해보고자 하였다.

Fashion design education essentially requires not only a theoretical but also a practical process in which feedback comes through personal interactions between an instructor and a student. But the existing WBI system exemplifies its limitations by applying only a one-way Distance Education methodology that limit interactions based only on the theoretical texts.
This study affirms that web-based learning system is possible for the applied component of the fashion design curriculum as long as the specific needs of the particular program is taken into consideration and systematically applied. So it designed and applied an original web-based distance educational system specifically incorporating the needs of the fashion design curriculum Thus the results show that the enhanced distance education system is a tool that could be effectively utilized with the same degree of success as the traditional classroom as long as the traditional teaching component of direct interaction necessary to the fashion design program is incorporated.
