Upward mobiles are identified as those inddividuals who embrace their organizations' goals. The organizational values are their values, therefore, in any situation, especially in conflict situations, organizational values are decisive. Indifferents comprise the most common accommodation mode. They reject the organizational values of success power. Their orientation essentially is extravocational and outside the organization. They seperate work from the more meaningful aspects of their lives. Ambivalents usually are a small minority who cannot risit the organizaton; yet they fail to gain organizational power and success. They need security, but they cannot make the accommodations necessary to achieve it. They have an aggresive sense of individuality that typically does not fit into the bureauracy's structured field.
