호모 에스테티쿠스: 발생론적 관점에서 본 미학적 지향성과 대안문화의 방향 = Homo Aestheticus: Aesthetic Aim and Alternative Culture Direction from a Developmental Perspective

This study aims to redefine the aesthetic definition of art subsumed in capital under neo-liberal production and to envision the direction of a new alternative culture. This starts with the paradox that although capitalism has seriously undermined the value of art, it is taking over the aesthetic human form, and practical measures are being drawn to make the thrust of artistic evolution a medium of community evolution. The study first traces the aesthetic potential to the phenomenon of ‘beauty universalization’ in the capitalist industry system, which is defined as ‘socialization of aesthetics or aesthetic embodiment of society,’ and the problematic circumstances surrounding ‘the universalization of artistic labor for survival’. Also, paradoxically, trace the aesthetic potential that is embedded in the situation. It focuses on how the ‘tendency of aesthetic attitudes or reasons’ that we take when we relate to the world and what characteristics it is that we consider a new artistic human being named ‘the aesthetic human’ or ‘the art human.’
