함경남도 검무의 전승 구조와 무형유산적 가치에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Transmission Structure and Intangible Cultural Heritage Value of Hamgyeong-namdo Geommu

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 본 연구는 함경남도 검무의 전승 구조와 예술적 특징을 분석하고, 무형유산으로서의 가치를 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 연구는 문헌연구를 중심으로 분석을 진행하고, 전승자인 양승미에 대한 심층인터뷰를 보완자료로 활용하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 함경남도 검무는 故 장홍심–故 한순옥–양승미로 이어지는 전승 계보를 중심으로 현재까지 지속적으로 전승되고 있으며, 전승 공동체를 중심으로 교육과 공연 활동이 이루어지고 있다. 둘째, 함경남도 검무는 검을 중심으로 한 동작 구조와 독무 형식, 서도토리 계열 음악과 허튼타령 장단 구조가 결합된 예술적 특징을 지니며, 이는 다른 지역 검무와 구별되는 표현 양식으로 나타난다. 셋째, 함경남도 검무는 공동체 기반의 전승 구조와 지역적 특성을 바탕으로 무형유산으로서의 가치를 지닌다. 결론 함경남도 검무는 명확한 전승 계보와 공동체 기반의 지속적인 전승 구조, 그리고 독자적인 예술적 특징과 지역성을 바탕으로 무형유산으로서의 가치를 지닌 전통춤이라 할 수 있다.

PURPOSE This study examines the value of Hamgyeong-namdo Geommu as an intangible cultural heritage. METHOD This study is based on a literature review, supplemented by an in-depth interview with the inheritor Yang Seung-mi. RESULT Hamgyeong-namdo Geommu has a clear transmission lineage, distinct artistic characteristics, and reflects regional identity as an intangible cultural heritage. CONCLUSION Hamgyeong-namdo Geommu can be regarded as a traditional dance that possesses value as an intangible cultural heritage based on its clear transmission lineage, community-based continuity of transmission, and distinctive artistic characteristics and regional identity.
