The high speed development of computer technology and information and communications technology has affected to the world at large; politics, economy, society, and culture. Among these, graphics technology has a stronger impact on the culture and fine arts. A various cultural and art theories in the era of post-structuralism, with the assistance of media technology, made it possible to try a diverse transformation and experimentation in the fields of dance. It is not such a familiar concept to the mass; however, the articulation of dance and motion graphics has provided us with the solid foundation for interdisciplinary exchanges. In this paper we have explored that motion graphics in dance is a great part of it and actually play a role of a dancer. The organic combination of motion graphics and dance have created a new genre in-between the visual medium and the performing medium. The advance of media technology puts visual aspects in more important position. Dancers and producers will have to understand not only the dance itself, but the theater as a concept of visual representation. Furthermore, it allows dancers to be more creative than ever by overcoming the limits of thoughts. In the near future, when computers can support virtual reality technology and higher speed networks, dance will be expected to face another transformation of interaction with partners and audiences.
