유아의 친사회적 행동에 관한 연구：광주·전남지역 유치원을 중심으로 = A Study on Kindergarten Children's Prosocial Behavior：Gwangju and Chonnam Area

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 광주․전남지역 유아들이 성, 연령, 지역, 설립유형, 부모의 직업, 출생순위, 재원기간에 따라 친사회적 행동이 어떻게 다른가를 알아보고자 하는데 있다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 김영옥(2003)의 유아의 친사회적 행동 척도(Prosocial Behavior Scale for Young Children：PBSYC)를 사용하여 만 3,4,5세 542명의 유아를 관찰하여 평정하였다. 연구결과 광주․전남지역 유아의 친사회적 행동은 성별에 따라서는 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이가 없었으며 연령과 거주지역에 따라서는 통계적으로 의미 있는 차이를 보였다. 또한 설립유형, 부모의 직업, 출생순위 및 재원기간에 따라서도 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아의 친사회적 행동의 실태를 파악하여 지역사회 차원의 기초자료를 마련하였으며 이러한 결과는 유아의 사회적 능력을 증진시키는 교육프로그램의 개발과 후속연구에 근거를 제공한 것이라 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to grasp the conditions of prosocial behaviors for the children in Gwangju and the Chonnam area according to gender, age, living area, foundation type, parents' occupations, birth rank, and period of attendance. To this end, the prosocial behaviors of 542 children aged 3, 4, and 5 years were determined using ‘A Rating Scale of Children’s Prosoical Behaviors (PBSYC, Kim Young Ok, 2003). The results of this research may be summed up as follows. First, this study has shown that the children’s prosocial behaviors were not difference according to the gender. Second, from all the subfields of prosocial behaviors, there were significant mean differences between ages and living areas statistically. Third, there were differences in the prosocial behaviors depending on foundation type, parents' occupations, birth rank, and period of attendance.
