외상후 스트레스 장애의 지속노출치료 : 강간 피해자 증례 보고 1례

국문 초록 (Abstract)

외상후 스트레스 장애에 대한 지속노출 치료는 두려워하는 상황과 기억에 직면하도록 하는 것으로, 기억의 병리적인 부분을 수정하기 위해 외상 기억을 활성화하는 것이라고 할 수 있다. 지속 노출치료는 외상후 스트레스 장애 증상을 완화시키는 효과 면에서 탁월한 성과를 보고하고 있다. 본고에서는 지속노출치료의 원리, 구체적인 절차를 소개하고, 20대 초반의 강간 피해자를 대상으로 한 실제 치료 사례를 제시하였다. 치료는 모두 9회기에 걸쳐 개인치료로 실시하였다. 지속 노출 치료 후, 환자는 외상후 스트레스 장애 증상의 호전과 우울과 불안의 유의미한 감소를 보였다. 이러한 결과의 시사점과 향후 치료에서 고려해야 할 점을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Prolonged Exposure(PE) has been undoubtedly regarded as the most effective psychological
intervention for treating the PTSD symptoms. Many outcome studies have validated its
empirical status as the treatment of choice. This article presented the theoretical background
and the basic therapeutic techniques of PE, and a case report of female victim of sexual
assault. Therapy consisted of 9 sessions and individual therapy was performed. Pre- and
post-treatment evaluation demonstrated that the patient had significantly less severe PTSD
symptoms and less depressed following treatment. The implications of these findings and
direction for treatment and future research were discussed
