      This article discusses the Labor Dispute of Large Scale Cotton Textile Factory during the Korean War. The labor dispute was caused by "the Affair of Dropped Cotton," which prevented public sale of Chosun Spinning Co. The company replaced the president. Kang, Il-Mae, a new president of Chosun Spinning Co. was confronted against a labor union. This antagonism brought about labor dispute.
      The Labor Union of Chosun Spinning Co. was hoping to guarantee labor union activity. This assertion of the labor union could scarcely recognized at the early stage of the dispute. But the president of Chosun Spinning Co. was reinstated to factory by political power and suppressed the labor union and their activities.
      After all, strike had broken out in Chosun Spinning Co.. Although this strike failed to realize the anticipated result due to the decision of its leaders, it had a certain impact on the industry. The dispute ultimately affected the congressional legislation process concerning the labor dispute.
      The dispute of Chosun Spinning Co. was summarized as follows.
