해방 직후 `우리 안의 난민·이주민 문제`에 관한 시론 = A Study of Refugees and Migrants in Korea just after Liberation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is the study of post-war migration in korea, mainly focus on the various korean groups that repatriated from abroad, moved from North korea region, and japanese settlers that were made to repatriate to japanese island by GHQ/USAMGIK. Accommodation of repatriates from abroad and groups escaped from North korea region, and exclusion of japanese settlers who have lived during the colonial era are the key point of building newly liberated korea after 1945. Especially, the integration of these migration groups called Jeon-jae-min, meaning war victims, who became poverty asking for urgent relief. United States Army Military government recognized that this problem is serious in controlling korea, but paid little attention to relief and welfare policy. This attitude of USAMGIK brought about many kinds of troubles between korean native residents and migrants themselves. This study deals with the reasons for failure of social integration in newly liberated korea, in the level of universality and particularity in post-war migration after 1945. For the purpose of clarification of korean particularity, this paper tried to find out the characteristics of post-war migration, international negotiation for war refugees in Europe, and the way how the universality of post-war migration developed in korea under the USAMGIK control.
