인간형성에 미치는 음악교육의 영향 : 대구지역 중학교 2학년 학생들을 중심으로 = (AN) EFFECT OF MUSIC EDUCATION TO BUILD UP PERSONALITY : focus on middle school 2nd grade students of in Taegu

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현대 과학문명은 그 진보의 속도를 추측하지 못할 정도로 급속히 발전해 가고 사회구조도 복잡해졌다. 이런 사회에서 인간의 내재적인 면을 키우는 일에 음악교육은 큰 역할을 하고 있다. 인간의 마음에 음악을 심어줌으로써 조화롭고 원만한 인간으로 인격을 갖추게 하는 것이 궁극적인 음악교육의 목적이 된다. 그러나, 현대에 와서 사람들은 지나치게 현실의 이익만을 추구하기 때문에 학생들마저도 예술을 멀리하고 음악교과를 기초과목에서 제거된 오락적인 교과로 전락시켜버리는 경향이 있다. 오늘날의 음악교육이 국가 및 사회가 요구하는 지적·정서적·도덕적으로 올바른 인격을 갖춘 인간 육성에 얼마나 중요한가에 초점을 두었다. 그리고, 역사의 흐름 속에 음악교육이 얼마나 중요했었던가를 보아 음악교육의 본질과 목표를 살펴보고 현 음악교육이 인간형성에 얼마나 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 문헌조사와 대구지방 중학교 2학년들의 음악교육 영향에 대한 실태와 학생들의 음악 교과에 대한 견해를 알아보고자 설문조사를 하였다.
서양 역사에서 보아도 음악을 멀리한 민족들은 빨리 멸망하였다. 이는 인간의 내재적인 면을 키우지 못하여 그렇게 되었다. 구한말 우리 나라에서도, 음악교육을 일본의 독소를 받아들이는 정서교육을 하여 오늘날까지도 왜색적인 가요와 음악을 버리지 못하고 방송 등 매스컴의 무질서한 음악프로그램에서 이런 노래들이 범람하고 있는 것은 한심한 일이 아닐 수 없으며, 이것은 오랫동안 그들의 침략적인 수법이 이러한 교육을 통해서 단단히 뿌리 내려져 있음을 확인하는 증거가 아닐 수 없다. 음악교육은 인간에게 음악을 접하게 함으로써 보다 인간적으로 풍요로운 삶을 살아가는 데 도움이 되게 하는 것이다. 음악을 접한다는 것은 음악적 사고를 통하여 음에 내재되어있는 정신적인 힘과 우리의 삶이 융합을 이루고, 나아가 인간을 안정되고 조화로운 생활의 소유자로 존재하게 하는 것이다.
설문조사로 인해 학생들의 최대 안식처는 음악인 것을 쉽게 알 수 있었다. 음악만으로도 안정된 생활을 한다는 학생들이 많았고, 명랑한 생활을 할 수 있다는 학생들도 있었다. 이로써 음악이 우리 생활 속에 정신적으로 많은 영향을 끼친다는 것을 알 수 있게 한다.
특히, 음악 교육자들은 음악을 통하여 미적인 감각을 극대화하고, 나아가서는 학생들에게 활기를 부여하는 음악교사로서의 직책을 이해하고 자기발전을 위한 부단한 노력이 필요하다. 음악을 인간성 완성의 수단으로서 그 사명을 다하려는 교사의 임무는 중대하다. 늘 한결같은 음악은 인간에게 강한 감동과 감화력을 주어 정신적인 작용으로 이루어지고, 인간 본연의 미적 작용으로 음악교육이 인간교육의 출발점이 되며 창조적이고 자주적인 인간으로 만들기 위한 교육임과 동시에 생활교육임을 명심해야한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Modern technology so rapidly develop that we cannot pressure the speed of progress and the social structure is very complexes. Therefore, music education play a important role to grow immanent personality. The ultimate purpose of music education to make harmonious and affable person. But nowadays people pursuit only practical interests excessively and students also keep away from art. Music subject is excluded from basic subject and degrade in this thesis, I focus that music education have an effect on building up personality. Through the study in history, I emphasize on the importance, nature and purpose of music education. And I examine the documents about the effect of music education. The research was conducted by using questionnaire to 2nd grade students of middle school in Taegu to look into the pinion of students about music subject.
If you see western history, you will find that the people who didn't appreciate music much destroyed early. In the end of Cho-sun Dynasty, music education was distorted to take Japanese style songs and music and it is so undesirable that we can see these kinds of Japanese songs are broadcasted a lot through station and others mass communication. It also can be an evidence that Japanese invasive method was deep-rooted through these education. Music education helps people to enjoy their life more by helping people to appreciate music. Appreciating music makes the spiritual power which exists in music and our life be merged and makes people to be the owner of their settled and harmonious life.
It was surveyed that student's the best refuge to take a rest is music. Students can maintain stability only by music and they can be exhilarated by music too. Now we can conclude that music. Influences our life spiritually very much.
Especially, music educators are required to understand their job to boot their students up and to make effort to self-development and they should develop esthetic sense. The teacher's duty to do their best to use music as the means of perfection of personality is very important. The music which is always same can give strong touch and influence to human being and it comes to be mental operation. We should remember that music education which is esthetic work of human nature should be the beginning of human education and that is the education to make people creative and independent and that is life education.
