      Kakura in Japan means conducting a ceremony to accept god. It is one of the Japanese traditional performances, which is similar to Korean shaman rituals.
      People consider Sato-Kakura that is distributed in the whole country, as a general Kakura, when they discuss about Kakura.
      All Kakura start with making Kamukura, which makes the God to come down to the world. Then people accept the god to be with them.
      Hence, the major part of Kakura is consist of the music and dance that are offered to god. At the scene of Kakura, there are always people who believes in god.
      This report deals with one of the various types of Kakuras called Takenoedao-Kakura, from Shiba region.
      Shiba-Kakura is Izumo-Kakuras, which comes from Izumo region.
      It consists of Torimono dances, the dance with Torimono, and mask dances, the dance with mask that describes the face of God. It is very similar to Kut in Korea. Not only the appearance of the performance, but also the meaning of the performance is very similar to Korean Kut.
      Takenoedao-Kakura, is maintaining the traditional Kakura,'s traits due to the isolated geographical characteristics. Therefore, analysing Takenoedao-Kakura's structure and characteristics will help to study about Kakura itself. Furthermore, it will also help to link Kakura with Kut in Korea.
