대학 무용교육의 패러다임 변화에 따른 제 문제 = Issues Caused by the Paradigm Change of College Dance Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 대학 무용교육의 패러다임 변화에 따른 제 문제를 연구하고, 이를 토대로 향후 바람직한 발전 방안을 수립하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 대학 무용교육의 실태를 파악하고 기존의 문헌 및 자료를 바탕으로, 대학 무용교육의 패러다임 변화를3개의 교육기관으로 나누어 대학 무용교육을 비교 및 분석하였고, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정규 대학의 경우 매년 2000여명의 졸업생을 배출하고 있으나, 교육 경쟁력 향상의 측면에서 학과통폐합이 얼마만큼의 기여를 할지 의문이다. 특히, 지방 교육기관의 학생 유치 및 운영상 어려움의 문제와도 관계가 있을 것으로 사료된다. 둘째, 일반적으로 지향하는 교육목적 아래, 소속 단과대학이나 교육기관의 특성을 배제한 채 광범위하고 포괄적인 교육목표를 제시하고 있다. 셋째, 정규 대학의 경우 소속 단과대학의 특성 및 교육목표에 따른 무용교육과정의 대부분이 실기 중심으로 진행되고 있으며, 다변화된 교육기관인 학점은행제의 경우 표준교육과정 중 하나인 전공 필수와 전공 선택 과목이 실용무용을 비롯한 무용 유사 전공자들을 위한 과목이 부족하다. 학과의 특성상 전공이 다양하기 때문에 다양한 과목의 개설이 필요하다. 넷째, 중도탈락학생 현황에서는 정규대 학교와 유사한 사유로 중도 탈락 학생이 나왔으나, ‘수업연한초과’로 인한 중도탈락 학생이 교육기관마다 다르므로, 그 실태와 원인에 대한 구체적인 검토가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study is to study the problems caused by paradigm shift in college dance education and to develop the future development plan. This paper investigated the current state of college dance education and analyzed the paradigm shift in college dance education into three educational institutional based on existing literature and statistics. The results of the study are as follows. First, regular universities produce 2,000 graduates nationwide each year. In this regard, it is doubtful how much contribution the consolidation will make to improving educational competitiveness. It is also believed to be related to the difficulty of local educational institutions in attracting and manage students. Second, under the general objective of education, the characteristics of the affiliated colleges and universities are excluded. Third, in regular universities, most of the dance curriculum is based on the characteristics and educational objectives of their colleges. Due to the diversity of majors, it is considered necessary to open a variety of subjects. Fourth, the status of the drop-out students indicates that the reason for the drop-out was similar to the regular universities, but it is required to examine the difference between the status of the school-leaved students and the educational institutions.
