초등학생의 맥락적 지지가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 (자아존중감의 매개효과를 중심으로) = A Study on Effects of Contextual Support for Elementary School Students’ Career Maturity (The Mediating Effects of Self-esteem)

The purpose of this study was to verify affects of the contextual support (attachment of parents , friend , teacher) for elementary school students' career maturity. For this purpose, those students(4~6th upper grade students, 280) at Dae-Jon Elementary school were in involved. The sample survey inquire into Relations of contextual support, career maturity, self-esteem. The study points were set up as follows ; First, those students of contextual support, career maturity, self-esteem have a good affected on parents and teacher's attachments. And positive self-esteem is indirect cause of career maturity. That is to say, the condition of contextual support and mature career are partially intermediate with positive self-worth and parents attachment. As a result of the survey, it was found that children in early adolescence career maturity effected by relative support(parent, teacher's stable attachment and positive self-esteem.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 초등학생의 맥락적 지지(부모, 친구 및 교사와의 애착), 자아존중감, 그리고 진로성숙도의 관계를 밝히려는 시도에서 이루어졌으며, 초등학생의 맥락적 지지가 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는데 있어 자아존중감이 매개변수로 작용하는지 확인하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 대전 지역 초등학교 4-6학년 280명을 대상으로 맥락적 지지, 진로성숙도, 자아존중감에 관한 설문조사를 실시한 후 자료를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 맥락적 지지가 진로성숙도에, 맥락적 지지가 자아존중감에, 자아존중감이 진로성숙도에 각각 영향을 미치는 예측변인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학생의 맥락적 지지, 자아존중감, 진로성숙도 변인간 유의한 정적상관이 나타났다. 또한 자아존중감의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 맥락적 지지가 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는데 있어 자아존중감은 유의한 수준에서 부분적으로 매개효과를 보여주었다. 즉 맥락적 지지가 진로성숙도에 직접적 영향을 미침과 동시에 자아존중감을 매개로 간접적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 부모와 교사와의 안정된 애착 형성은 초등학생의 자아존중감을 높이게 되고 동시에 진로성숙도를 향상시킨다고 볼 수 있다.
