The future of the postcommunist states in Eastern Europe depends largely on the constitutional framework which is to be chosen. Joining the European Community of the West European countries, if possible at all, or imitating such a structure in the East entails the risk of an all too slow economic recovery for reasons which rest mainly on the corporativism in the European Community.
