국내 중소기업과 대기업의 생산전략과 생산관행에 대한 비교 연구|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 국내 제조산업을 중심으로 경쟁우선순위, 생산관행 및 기업성과를 중소기업과 대기업으로 구분하여 각각에 대한 순위를 분석하였다. 또한, 순위 비교 결과를 중심으로 두 집단(중소기업과 대기업) 간에 평균적으로 어떤 차이가 있는지를 t-test를 통해 검증하였다. 분석 결과 경쟁우선순위에 있어서 두 집단간 차이는 없었으며, 우선순위는 가격과 품질, 배송, 다양성의 순서로 분석되었다. 생산관행의 측면에서 두 집단 간 우선순위는 큰 차이가 없었으나, 대기업에서는 품질경영을 위해 6시그마 활동에 중점을 둔 반면 중소기업은 TQM활동에 상대적으로 많은 투자를 하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 생산관행(18항목)에 있어서 두 집단간 평균차이는 모두 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 분석되었다. 기업성과 분야는 대기업과 중소기업간 우선순위는 큰 차이가 없었으나, 평균차이 분석에서는 통계적으로 차이가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 이러한 분석 결과를 중심으로 대기업과 중소기업의 생산관행과 생산전략의 혁신적 방향을 제시하였고, 기업 규모에 따라 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 제시하였다.

This study analyzed manufacturing strategy and practices and performance between large and small and medium companies (SMEs) using the data by 4th round of the Global Manufacturing Research Group (GMRG) survey. Also, this study attempted to investigate differences between two groups: large companies and SMEs. The study results showed that there is no difference between large companies and SMEs in competitive priorities, but large companies are superior to SMEs in manufacturing practices and performance. Also, in competitive priorities, cost, quality, delivery, and flexibility are important in order. In terms of manufacturing practices, it is known that sustainability for environment, reduction of lead time, and elimination of inefficiency are very important factors.
