This study was conducted to survey the best medium composition for 4 potted herb plants such as thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.), oregano (Origanum vulgare L.), pineapplemint (Mentha suareolens 'Varietaga'), and eau de colognemint (Mentha peperita var. citrata). Tosilee (TO) resulted in best medium for 4 potted herbs. Peatmoss was more effective than coir as additive substrates into inorganic matter to enhance plant height in thyme, pineapplemint, and eau de colonemint, but in oregano was reverse. Lateral shoot number was very similar with pant height. Oregano wilted with vermiculite 100% (VM) and vermiculite 70%+coir 30% (VC). The longest leaf length and width and root length of pineapplemint were with perlite 50%+peatmoss 50% (PP) and vermiculite 30%+peatmoss 70%, respectively. In eau de colonemint root length was not significant within all treatment, but the significancy of shoot and dry weight within all medium was high. Specially, shoot and dry weight of the others were lighter than that of TO.
