      The purpose of this study was to analyse the contents about environment in the science textbooks of primary, middle and high school and find the relationship among them. The biology textbooks for primary, middle and high school were analysed. The major results of the study are as follows. 1. Since the educational objectives in all of the science textbooks were commonly based on `interest in nature` and `curiosity` and stressed the science inquiry, the consistency of educational objectives for science was found. 2. The proportions of environment related parts in primary, middle, common science in high school, biology I and biology II textbooks were 19.9, 6.2, 16, 27.3 and 13.4%, respectively. It suggested that the proportion of environment related parts in middle was relatively low. 3. `The relationship of each concept of environmental educations through primary, middle and high school should be deepened and expanded, but on the basis of this study, it was not clearly showed.
