The purpose of this study was to review the history of Practical Arts/Home Economics education, base on curriculum revision, in high school. The major findings of this study were as follows; 1. the industrial subjects such as agriculture, industry, commerce, marine & fisheries, and home economics, have been traditionally offered as a practical arts/home economics subject through all the preiod. 2. technlogy education has been offered compulsorily from 1969 as a Practical arts/home economics subject. 3. practical arts and home economics were combined as one subject matters in period I (1954-1963) and period IV(1981-1987 today), even though the two subject matters have its own different goal and content.
