      The research is an inquiry case on a curriculum carried out by a narrative inquiry method. The research investigates experiences of students who specialized in dance in a pre-service teacher education program for the socialization process of a dance teacher. For the purpose of this study, three students majoring in dance have stated the actual contents of experience concretely at the stage of pre-service teacher education, and the exploration was carried out to define what meaning the experiences they have gone through have. As the result of the research, the discussion about the experience, which the three research participants have gone through as students majoring in dance at the stage of pre-service teacher education of socialization process of regular dance teachers, and the meaning of the experience are as follows. First, the three students majoring in dance had difficulty due to the lots of conflicts and confusion about their own ability and selection of a job after graduation, which were mainly caused by the discrepancies between the education received at universities and the reality. Secondly, it was found out that though the educational course in the graduate school, which was designed to cultivate regular dance teachers, defined the characteristics of the educational goals separately for each, the major of P.E. education and the major of dance education, but there was little difference between the courses. Thirdly, the three research participants stated that they had been overwhelmed because the courses were centered on P.E. theories at the early time when they entered graduate schools, and the burden was connected to the concern about the practical skills of P.E., so they felt necessity the reestablishment of the education of major practical skills in the course of education graduate schools. Fourthly, under the characteristics in common, the students majoring in dance perceived the limited ability as a P.E. teacher due to the shortage of P.E. practical skills, but they were narrowing difference between theories and realities through the imitation of the guidance teacher in the on-the-job training. As stated in the above content, the narrative inquiry on the socialization process of students majoring in dance is an important research method to demonstrate vivid experiences of a dance teacher in a pre-service teacher education program and to obtain the meaning of their experiences, rather than to seek general principles for the socialization process of a dance teacher.
