자기통제가 청소년 사이버 비행에 미치는 영향에 대한 성 중립성 검증 : 사회적 애착요인들을 매개하는 구조적 영향관계를 중심으로 = Examination of Gender Neutrality on the Effects of Self-Control on juvenile Cyber Delinquency : Focusing on the Structural Influencing Relationship Mediating Social Attachment Factors

The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural causes of juvenile cyber delinquency from Gottfredson and Hirschi's ‘general theory’ and integrated perspective through self control and social attachment, and to find out the gender neutrality of the influence relationship between each variable in the structural cause of cyber delinquency. For this purpose, the first grade of middle school in KCYPS 2018 were the subjects of the study, and the detailed analysis results are as follows. First of all, it was confirmed that self-control had a significant positive effect on teacher attachment and parental attachment equally in both sexes, and in terms of explanatory power through self-control, parental attachment followed by teacher attachment showed the level of explanatory power in the order. According to the analysis results of factors influencing cyber delinquency, self-control and parental attachment appeared to have significant negative effects on cyber delinquency for both men and women, but teacher attachment did not have a significant effect on cyber delinquency. Furthermore, it was found that the indirect effect of parental attachment was negatively significant in the influence of self-control on cyber delinquency, but teacher attachment was not significant, and the relative ratio of direct and indirect effects in total effect was about 7:3, which was the same for men and women. These analysis results suggest the need to pay more attention to the impact of self-control from a gender-neutral perspective rather than traditional gender-specific measures in the cause and countermeasures of juvenile cyber delinquency, and show that the role of parents, a major social other who can manage and supervise them, can be more important than anything else. In this regard, it is necessary to improve early appropriate educational measures to foster self-control at a high level and to provide policy supply for activation of various parenting conditions, and appropriate administrative intervention in environmental requirements to form positive interaction between parents and children in the role of family.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년 사이버 비행의 구조적 원인을 Gottfredson과 Hirschi의 ‘일반이론’과 자기통제 및 사회적 애착요인들을 통한 통합적 관점에서 규명해 보고, 이를 성 구분적 관점에서 조망하여 사이버 비행의 구조적 원인에 있어서 각 변인간 영향관계의 성 중립성을 알아보는데 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해, KCYPS 2018의 중1의 청소년을 연구대상으로 하였으며 구체적인 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 자기통제는 남녀 동일하게 교사애착과 부모애착에 양적으로 유의한 영향을 주었고 자기통제를 통한 설명력에 있어서 부모애착, 교사애착 순으로 설명력 수준을 보였음을 확인했다. 사이버 비행에 미치는 영향요인 분석결과에 따르면, 자기통제와 부모애착의 경우 남녀 모두 사이버 비행에 부적으로 유의한 것으로 나타나지만 교사애착의 경우 사이버 비행에 유의한 영향을 주지 못했다. 나아가 자기통제가 사이버 비행에 미치는 영향에 있어서 남녀 동일하게 부모애착의 간접효과는 부적으로 유의하였으나 교사애착은 유의하지 않았으며 총효과에서 직접효과 및 간접효과의 상대적 비율도 약 7:3 수준으로 남녀 동일하게 나타났음을 알 수 있었다. 이와 같은 분석결과는 청소년 사이버 비행의 원인 및 대책에 있어서 남녀 구분에 따른 전통적인 성 차별적 조치가 아닌, 성 중립적 시각에서 자기통제의 영향에 보다 주목할 필요성을 제시하며 가정에서 자신을 관리·감독할 수 있는 주요한 사회적 타자인 부모의 역할이 무엇보다 중요할 수 있음을 보여준다. 이와 관련, 자기통제를 높은 수준으로 함양할 수 있는 조기의 적절한 교육적 조치의 개선과 각종 양육조건의 활성화를 위한 정책적 공급이 필요할 것이며, 가정의 역할에서 부모와 자녀간의 긍정적인 상호작용 형성을 위한 환경적 요건에 대한 적절한 행정적 개입이 요구된다.
