      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The earth structure, such as an embankment of the river or an earth dam decreases its stability by the seepage action. Thereforce, it is necessary to find the relationships between the stability of the dam body and the effects of the movement of the seepage flow, which result from a rainfall and a rise in water-level of river.
      This experiment is on the movement of the seepage water within the dam body, when the rainfall and a rise in stage coincided.
      From this experiment, it was found that the increment of seepage and a rise in water-level within dam body were the more faster in coincides case than in the case of a rise in stage without a rainfall, and consequently decreased the stability of dam body.
