담양 중심부 토지이용에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Land Use of Damyang Town Center : focused on the Gecheemri

국문 초록 (Abstract)

도시의 중심부 토지이용과 도시공간구조 에 관한 많은 연구가 발표되었고 현재 연구가 진행되고 있으나，담양군에 관한 체계적 인 연구가 진행되지 못한 상황이다. 중심부 토지이용에 관한 연구는 대도시 및 중소도시에 관한 연구가 주로 이루어지고，소도시 특히 농촌지역의 중심적 역할을 하는 인구 약 1-3만명 정도의 작은 읍 단위 토지이용에 대한 연구는 활발하지 못하다. “담양군 의 지리적 환경(조숭현)" 연구에서 담양군 전체 의 자연환경，지목현황，경제활동，인구분포 및 밀도에 관한 연구는 있었으나 도시 계획적인 차원에서 접근보다는 지리적 환경 조사로 학술조사가 이루어졌다. 전라남도의 읍 단위 행정구역 중에 일부를 제외하고는 상주 및 활동인구의 감소로 융 단위 도시기능의 약화뿐만 아니라 배후지역인 농촌지역에 중심 기능을 상실해 가고 있는 현실이다. 특히 담양읍 지난 30년간 지속적으로 인구가 감소하고 산업도 농업기반에 일부 소규모 제조업이나 공장들이 설립되어 운영되고 있는 실정이며，담양의 경제활동은 농업과 담양읍의 서비스 기능이 주종을 이루고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 담양의 도시 현황 특성의 원인 을 파악하고，농촌 배후지역으로서 중심적 역할을 해야할 소도시 담양읍의 토지이용의 특성을 파악함으로써 향후 담양읍 도시계획에 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

In most of rural areas of Korea small town centers which comprises market, local government offices and commercial facilities and housing facilities are centers of urban activities and used for the exchange of goods.
This paper investigates Damyang town center of population, building construction activities, road system and various types of activities. This paper is a study of activities of agglomeration intensity and building density, and suggests proposals for reform measure. Some of findings are : Damyang town center of functions very limited primary services of eating houses, repair shop, educational facilities, and a lot of housing building are located Damyang town center in case study area.
Case study area has a small population under 350 persons, and decrease in population.
A network of roads, pavement of road and wide of road is out of. place, and therefor it is necessary to a road plan.
Land use patterns and building use are showing typical characteristics and layout patterns in terms of settlements.
