This study examined the current status of continuing education for the baby boomer generation in Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan, checked the current status of continuing education programs for the baby boomer generation using university resources in Gyeonggi Province, and examined the policy needs of baby boomers who participated in actual education. Based on the research, the study suggests ways to improve the operation of continuing education programs for the baby boomer generation. It was suggested that it is necessary to utilize university resources to provide higher quality professional education for the baby boomer generation, actively utilize university degree programs, and prioritize the protection and fostering of industries suitable for the baby boomer generation through legal and institutional improvements.
