This study verified the relationship between information accessibility, ease of order payment, convenience of ordering process, and additional services as sub-dimensions of kiosk characteristics in the food service industry on the theory of planned behavior, self-determination, and behavioral intention. The analysis results and implications are presented as follows. It was found that additional services, which are constructs for kiosks in the food service industry, have a significant effect on the planning action theory. However, it was analyzed that information accessibility, ease of order payment, and convenience of ordering process did not have a significant effect. Second, additional services were shown to have a significant effect on self-determination theory. However, it was analyzed that information accessibility, ease of order payment, and convenience of ordering process did not have a significant effect. Third, it was found that information accessibility and ease of order payment had a significant effect on behavioral intention. However, it was analyzed that the convenience of the ordering process and additional services did not have a significant effect. Fourth, the theory of planned action was analyzed to have no significant effect on the theory of self-determination, and the theory of planned action was found to have a significant effect on the intention to act. However, it was analyzed that the self-determination theory did not have a significant effect on behavioral intention. Based on these analysis results, useful implications for food service industry kiosks were presented.
