    This thesis aims to review the realization process of the war with Baekje of the Silla Dynasty in 660. Putting all accounts together of the political power of the King Muyeol times, it was never lucrative to the balance of the political power before the war for power of the royal authorities to do unilaterally war with Baekje. Therefore King Muyeol needed to induce the affirmative supports of the power of the aristocratic associations and political outsiders due to the weak internal structure and the limitation of the political powers, facing the Unification War. So, the power of the royal authorities promted amicable atmosphere induce opposition powers to battle by utilizing an anspicious sign and unexpected animal event in politically, and by spying into secretly domestic politics of the Baekje. And he appointed Jinju as Byeongburyeong. Like this, the realization of the war with Baekje of the Silla Dynasty in 660 was necessary phased the domestic and foreign processes. This meant that there were certain limits in strengthening of the royal authorities of the King Muyeol times.
