17세기 후반 『동여비고(東輿備攷)』의 제작 배경과 내용적 특징 - 관련 저본(底本) 및 모사본(模寫本)과의 비교를 중심으로 -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper aimed to reveal the background of the production of DongYeo-bigo designated as Treasure No. 1596, and its significance to the map history in the Joseon Dynasty. JinaJoseon-gojido and DongYeo-gosil are related to the original of DongYeo-bigo. The person who drew both atlases of DongYeo-gosil and JinaJoseon-gojido before 1679 was Jeong Gyeong-heum, and the former reflected the revisions of the latter. They have the map of Ganghwa Island before 1679. DongYeo-bigo and JoseonGangyeok-chongdo included the map of Ganghwa Island after 1682. After all, the order in which the above atlases were made is JinaJoseon-gojido, DongYeo-gosil, DongYeobigo and JoseonGangyeok-chongdo. These atlases made before 1688, because there was not the tomb of King Injo’s second Queen in 1688. As historical maps are rare, these atlases are very meaningful to provide the geographical names of the Korean Peninsula of all times and unique city maps.
