스포츠 관련 투자 인식과 지역사회 발전과의 관계 = The Relationships between Sport-Related Investment Cognition and the Development of Local Community

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 월드컵 개최도시를 중심으로 지방자치단체(지자체)의 스포츠 관련 투자와 지역사회발전과의 관계를 규명하는 데 있다. 연구 대상자는 2001년 10월 현재 울산시·대구시·수원시에 거주하는 시민 중에서 365명을 다단계 유층표집하였다. 자료 분석은 이 연구에서 설정한 변인의 하위변인별 신뢰도 검증과 기술통계, t검증(t-test), 일원변량분석(one-way ANOVA), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)이 이용되었으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구통계학적 특성변인에 따라 스포츠 관련 투자에 대한 인식은 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 연령·거주기간·개최도시 등에 따라서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 그리고 지역사회 발전에도 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 성별·개최도시 등에 따라서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 둘째, 스포츠 관련 투자에 있어서 정치성, 공공사업성, 경제성이 높아질수록 시민문화 발전이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 경제성·공공사업성이 높아질수록 경제발전이 항상되었다. 넷째, 정치성·공공사업성이 높아질수록 관광발전이 고조되었다. 다섯째, 공공사업성이 높아질수록 도시 환경 발전이 성장하였다. 여섯째, 공공사업성·경제성이 높아질수록 정치성이 낮아질수록 스포츠가 발전되었다. 따라서, 지자체가 스포츠 이벤트의 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 투자에 있어 지역주체 형성자로서의 주민의 욕구와 지역의 여러 가지 측면을 고려해서 결정되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationships between sport-related investment recognition of local autonomous entities and the development of local society. The 365 subjects were selected using the systematic stratified cluster random sampling method from peoples who live in Ulsan, Daegu, and Suwon, in 2001. The methods of statistical analysis were One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis of the data. The results were as follows:
First, sport-related investment recognition of local autonomous entities and the development of local society were partially different by the socio-demographic characteristics. In detail, sport-related investment recognition of local autonomous entities is different to age, a term of resident, and host city. The development of local society was different to gender and host city. Second, economical factor, business factor and political factor influenced on development of civic culture. Third, economical factor and business factor influenced on development of economy. Fourth, political factor and business factor influenced on development of tourism. Fifth, business factor influenced on development of civic environment. Finally, business factor and economical factor influenced on development of civic environment.
