This study was to analyze and identify the indirect and direct effects of working environment, self-efficacy and job satisfaction of the care providers in medical and welfare service facilities for the eldery Therefore, we`ve surveyed 375 care providers in 12 areas including Daegu city for a two-month period from May~July, 2009. The results were as followed. First, the working environment, job satisfaction and self-efficacy had significant inverted relationship with the job stress, which means that, the better working environment had higher the self-efficacy and job satisfaction. Second, we`ve identified that as the human resource environment, physical environment and job expertise of care providers are good, it brings positive effect on self-efficacy, though the compensation system is not effective on self-efficacy. Third, we`ve discovered that the working environmental factors had direct effect on their self-efficacy and job satisfaction.
