노인들의 치과보철 장착 실태 및 만족에 관한 연구 = The old people`s Satisfaction Status of the Prosthetic Patients Visiting Dental Clinics

This is aimed to offer basic materials for the research related to the old people`s prosthetic dentistry by surveying the use of prosthetic and satisfaction status of the old who come to the local welfare centers. Sample survey was done with ￡he old who are over 60 coming to 7 welfare centers in Daegu respectively. The period of this survey was from August 9th 2011 to September 21st 2011. 7 inquirers visited each welfare center to get all the informations and they explained the purpose of this survey to the subject and got their consent. The inquirers interviewed each subject with well organized questionairs. The collected materials were analyzed by using SPSSWIN(ver18.0) statistical program and the results are as follows. The more remained teeth on both maxilla and mandible they have, the more satisfaction measurement with prosthetics they can get. This result has statistical significance with high satisfaction of implants and fixed bridges. To build fixed prosthetics in mouth, many remained natural teeth are needed. In case there are few remained teeth, removable dentures are required relatively. Because of the loss of natural teeth and abutment of fixed prosthetics due to dental canes or periodontal deseases, the use of fixed prosthetics is decreasing as people are getting older, while the use of removable dentures such as partial dentures and full dentures is increasing.
