관광지 내부 교통으로서 관광케이블카 도입방안에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Use of the Cable-car as an Internal Transportation System at Tourist Attractions

In recent times The efforts to introduce the transportation(cable car, climbing train)for tourist movement has appeared in various kinds of local communities as the type of tourist have changed. This means of transportation can be very attractive for tourists, even though it can have a negative influence on the natural ecology of the world.
The cable car may attract tourists by increasing the appeal of the tourist attractions and stimulate the local economy. I think for it to succeed it sill need the systematic planning for transportation and an evaluation of the environmental impact, a positive formation of public opinion by holding consortiums and seminars, the analysis of the foreign cases, the analysis of the local economy impact. If done, the negative affect on the community environment may be offset.
In this thesis, to study tourist cable car business, I have tried to analyse a community which really had a lot of trouble in constructing tourist cable cars and the present conditions of the tourist cable cars operating in the national parks by centering on the theoretical background of the tourist transportation.
Also as the proper introduction method of this business in this country through the analysis of the foreign cases I have suggested the target establishment in planning of tourist transportation, the counterplan establishment of minimizing damages on the natural environment and the introducing method on the multi-stage evalution system of environmental influence.
