자녀의 성적이 어머니와 자녀의 교환관계와 만족도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

자녀의 성적이 어머니와 자녀간 교환관계와 만족도에 어떤 인과적 관계를 형성하는지 검증하였다. 교환이론과 자원이론에 근거하여 부모자녀간 교환되는 6개 영역의 자원교환의 실태가 어머니와 자녀의 형평성인지수준에 영향을 미치며, 이는 갈등수준과 만족도 수준에 각각 영향을 미칠 것이라는 기본연구모형의 검증과 함께 성적의 영향을 연구하였다. 연구에 사용된 자료는 5대 광역시를 표본으로 청소년 자녀를 둔 어머니 450명과, 청소년 450명을 대상으로 설문조사한 것이다. 수집된 자료는 EQS에 의해 분석되었다. 분석결과 교환이론의 이론적 모형은 어머니보다는 자녀를 설명하는데 더 적합하였다. 성적 또한 자녀집단에서만 교환관계와 인과관계가 형성되고, 갈등수준과 만족도에도 자녀집단에서만 영향을 미쳤다. 자녀들은 자신의 성적이 나쁘면 어머니로부터 자원을 적게 받는다고 생각하였다. 자녀의 성별을 구분하여 분석한 결과, 아들의 성적은 영향이 없지만 딸의 성적은 어머니의 교환 관계와 관련이 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Basing our current study around exchange theory and resource theory, we developed a model of mother-child relational satisfaction. The model is made up of causal relations in which the pattern of resource exchanges affects the perception of the level of equity, and the equity level influences both the conflict and the satisfaction level. In addition to this model, we examined the causal direction of the academic achievement level on the exchange relationship. The data used for the study were collected from 450 adolescent children and 450 mothers from a nationwide sample. The EQS program was used for the analysis. Our results indicated that the exchange model was better suited to the child than the mother. The level of academic achievement had an influence on the exchange and also on the conflict and satisfaction level in the sample group of children. The responses of the children indicated that they receive less from their mother if their academic achievement level was low. When we compared sons and daughters, daughter's achievement levels tended to have an effect on the exchange pattern.
