다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to provide and suggest more detailed policy measures on environmental improvement for crime prevention. Method : The research method of this study was using qualitative research method through literature review. Conclusion : Although human criminality or willingness to commit crimes is a key factor in crimes, crimes do not occur unless the environmental requirements to commit them are met. Therefore, the frequency of crimes is significantly reduced if the environment for committing crimes, which is a basic requirement of crimes, is improved. In other words, the maintenance of roadside trees should eliminate the blind spots of CCTV and allow the street lights to fully light up the streets. In order to strengthen the criminal access control of multi-family houses, joint entrance control devices such as old apartment houses and apartments should be provided. Lastly, the illumination of the street lighting system should be increased so that the face can be identified from a distance so that it can be clearly exposed to CCTV.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

연구목적 : 이 연구의 목적은 범죄예방을 위한 환경개선에 대하여 보다 구체적인 정책적 대응 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 이 연구의 연구방법은 문헌조사를 통한 질적 연구방법을 사용하여 연구하였다. 결론 : 인간의 범죄적 기질이나 범행의지가 범죄발생의 핵심요소이기는 하지만 범행을 저지를 환경적 요건이 갖추어지지 않으면 범행을 저지르지 않으며 범죄는 발생하지 않는다. 따라서 범죄 발생의 기본요건인 범죄를 저지를 수 있는 환경이 개선된다면 범죄발생 빈도는 현저하게 감소된다. 즉, 가로수의 정비를 통하여 CCTV의 사각지대를 없애고 가로등이 거리를 온전히 비출 수 있도록 해야 한다. 그리고 다가구 주택의 범죄적 접근통제의 강화를 위하여 오래된 공동주택이나 아파트 등의 공동출입문 통제장치가 마련되어야하고 새로 건축되는 다가구 주택에는 설계단계부터 공동출입문통제장치가 설계되도록 제도화해야한다. 마지막으로 거리의 조명시설의 조도를 높여 멀리서도 얼굴식별이 가능하여 CCTV에 선명하게 노출될 수 있도록 교체해야 할 것이다.
