各種 標準 plasmid를 가진 E. coli를 利用하여 1976年에 分離한 S. typhi 의 chloramphenicol (Cm), tetracycline (Tc), streptomycin (Sm), sulfisomidine(Su) 耐性 plasmid(pKY132)와 1980年에 分離한 S. typhi의 Cm, Su, ampicilln (Ap), trimethoprim(Tp)耐性 plasmid(pKY127)에 대해 比適合性檢査와 表面排除檢査를 實施하어 pKY132는 H_1群, pKY127은 C群임을 알았고 pKY132는 37℃보다 25℃에서 잘 傳達되었다.

The grouping of R plasmids by incompatibility is a valuable means for epidemiological study of enteric bacilli, and author studied the incompatibility group of R plasmids in Salmonella typhi isolated in Korea, with standard R plasmids infected in Escherichia coli. One strain isolated in 1976 was resistant to chloramphenicol(Cm), tetracycline, streptomycin, and sulfisomidine (Su), and classified into Inc. HI. This strain was thermosensitive and the plasmid was transferred to E. coli more efficiently at 25℃ than at 37℃. One strain resistant to Cm, Su, ampicillin, and trimethoprim was isolated in 1980, and classified into Inc. C.
