A paradigm of new informational environment of Ubiquitous and Web 2.0, created a third space incorporating cyber space and the real space. In this environment, voluntary user participation and experience as a value of new products being redirected to the contents of physical space and cyberspace. Communications have changed to a form of highlighting the interaction of communication between the users and created such an active communication service ofinformation sharing between the users, such as SNS.
With the popularity of smart phones, among the multi-pronged approach of design of the user experience of content using the ubiquitous network technology such as wireless network and GPS / RFID, emphasizing the importance of the relationship between the space and the users and showing the possibility of solving the absent of communication in public space.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to utilizesuch technology provided by ubiquitous network environment to achieve the evolutionary development through the contents generated by user participation and experience and the accumulated database, therefore to provide the utilization plan of the component of the ubiquitous space and search for the meaning and to look for the ways to take advantage of a locative contents of user experience contents. In this context, the configuration of the study is divided into the following 4 sections.
In chapter 2 presented the empirical part of user-generated experimental contents and meaning of the space based on the understanding of the process of changes of the technology evolution in the network environment represented as ubiquitous and Web 2.0 & SNS. Chapter 3 preceded by looking into a definition and the characteristics of locative content design and features via case study of an example of user experience contents, attracting most attention due tothe development of technology among them, such as mobile networks, GPS, and also discussed the meaning and the possibility of locative content as ubiquitous space.
Chapter 4, based on the analysis of the above system in the introductory chapters, set up a development project utilizing bicycle system in the rent scrapped Kyeongchun disused rails park. Analyzed the overview and the value of pulmonary Kyeongchun disused rails park development and the meaning of the bicycle system as user participation as a condition, also case studied abroad bicycle revitalization system as well as conducting space design of bicycle utilization system and the planning of a utilization scenario, design planning through display of the design process, and presented the value and the utilization plan of locative content using user participation.
Chapter 5 closes this research by listing details and results of previous studies performed and seek for directions of further researches.
